A Memory to Keep

allure

fragments of a desire,
corseted and constrained,
grow as you incite
   stowed away sentiments
kept for some deeper tomorrow
because yesterday
   had grown
stagnant.

and you,
refreshing ozone,
   sharp and heady,
restore the strength of longing
the potency of pleasure
   covering this archaic tapestry.
silent yearnings press against the
seam.

kissing the sensual lips
   framing your vivid smile-
the straight line of your nose-
even the closed lids of your
   sadly dressed eyes,
my lips part in anticipation-
my breath held hostage by
craving.

don't blame me, too.
   you are just so beautiful.
mind.
body
   and
soul.
dangerously
beautiful.
