Uncoveredsmear my wine-colored lip gloss
with the slant
and  pressure
of your questing mouth
   kiss me
clench your unyielding fingers
in the dark tresses
at the nape of my neck
and contain me
   kiss me
press your searching tongue
past my  lips
past my teeth
until it meets mine with uneven strokes
   kiss me
and steeped in this beginning
know I am not thinking of an ending
only relishing each and every step
on our journey
   kiss me

I was struck by the compatibility of the pointed shapes of the snow, and the naked points of the little tree.

And this was after sunset. The sky around here often turns purple and pink at sunset in all directions except west in the winter-this is facing due north. Does that happen other places??

stopped in the middle of the road, driver side door wide open, music blaring, knee deep in ditch snow, hoping no other car comes. :D:D

Oh very nice, we have very similar winter skies just down south a bit here in Indiana, just without the snow it seems this year.

We have been very snowless, but have gotten at least three good storms. Which is pretty much fine by me! :)

We have gotten just a couple little snows, enough to make it white in the morning and then melt by the afternoon!
