That is just something I was typing to a friend a while back. Right before this I told her I was comforted by the fact that it seems good, beautiful things always seem to tip the balance favorably from sad misfortune, or worse. They do. Eventually.
The human condition, our loves, losses, dreams and failures. These things we live are nothing new. They are a part of the fabric of the universe, winding around and about us--and shall be long into the future.
